The Bible clearly teaches that baptism is the next step after giving your life to Jesus. Baptism is your chance to stand up and tell the world about your personal commitment to follow Jesus.

Baptism isn’t what saves you, but it’s an outward symbol of your inner commitment to follow Christ. In a way, baptism is a lot like a wedding ring. The ring doesn’t make you married, but it’s a symbol of your love and devotion to your spouse, and that your life is being lived for someone else.

We offer baptism services throughout the year. If you are interested in being baptized, sign up below or this Weekend on the back of your connection card.

The Bible defines Baptism as:

  • A sign of identification (Acts [8:36]-38)
  • Symbolic of death and resurrection (Romans 6:4-5)
  • Representative of a cleansing (1 Peter 3:1)
  • Important step of obedience in Scripture (Matthew [28:19]-20, 1 John 2:3)

CONNECT GROUPS

CONNECT GROUPS ARE A PLACE TO BELONG AND GROW

As our church grows larger, we understand it must also grow smaller in focus in order to care for each and every individual member. While weekends are a time to join together as a church, Connect Groups are designed to be fun and relevant. Connect groups also provide personal support and the opportunity to develop relationships mid-week! Connect groups consist of discussion groups, Bible study fellowships, and book studies

WHY WE GIVE

Scripture teaches us to put Christ first in every area of our lives. As Christ-followers, giving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is a viable part of worship. We are called to manage the resources God has blessed us with to be a blessing to others.

3 Types Of Spiritual Giving

1

The Faith Gift

Scripture teaches that everything we have is God’s. We don’t own it, we manage it. But, he does expect us to bring 10% of our income to the local church. We trust Him by faith and act on that trust.

2

The Generous Gift

Scripture also teaches of moments people went beyond the 10% and gave out of generosity more than was expected.

3

The Sacrificial Gift

Finally, Scripture teaches of moments in life when we are moved to sacrificially give beyond 10% and even more than simply generous. We sacrifice ourselves to use our resources to further the mission of the movement God has called us to fund.
