About Our Church
There was a lot of unrest among the church I was serving at and it bothered me greatly. Bringing more stress into my life than ministry did. I quit my job and notified the congregation to claim power of ownership under the new building I had purchased.
A few of my friends left in search for a compromise. They suggested for me to create a place for people who knew that to be human meant you had an ineffectively radical new way of seeing things, connecting with others, talking with God, and being one with your own body.
The call went out on social media and the 2 attendants showed up the next day to start building together. It ended up being about 30 people on that first day Sunday – people who’d been waiting their whole lives for church like this: stories, music, various steps from meditation to swings from Christians to Buddhists all worshiping as they pleased. God’s presence descended unexpectedly as we sang Lord Jesus Lay Your Head with joy.
